Mobile Payment Trends

The trend towards more mobility in many business areas is irreversible. While doing some research on the subject we came across an interesting infographic by intuit elaborating on mobile payments. The illustrations are based on a document provided by Deloitte. As per the mentioned paper “mobile payments are ripe with potential to offer convenience to consumers, new growth avenues to mobile carriers, differentiation to financial institutions, and loyal customers to merchants”. We will see what the future holds exactly, it seems a matter of time until this trend becomes mainstream. Before that happens, challenges such as security concerns, spreading the required technologies, build the necessary infrastructure, train consumers and many more have to be tackled. We are looking forward to meeting all challenges we face in the mobile computing area.
