Pharmacy Sales

With the new Telekurs iD version 8.3, developed by Rolotec AG, comes bundled a great new data set from FactSet for fundamentals.

Here is an example that shows the biggest players in the pharma industry by sales and sets that information in relation to their market capitalisation.

IMHO, the aggregate numbers that show the whole size of the sector are just as interesting. To put it in perspective, all the sales of Wal-Mart by itself add up to USD 405 bia. However the P/S ratio of WMT is only 0.5.
